Locally owned & operated

Building a better waterfront.

S&F Marine Construction designs and builds custom docks, piers, vinyl seawalls, boat lifts and waterfront structures throughout Brunswick County and coastal North Carolina.

What makes us different is the shop. All of our work is done in house by experienced welders and craftsmen — we fabricate the aluminum, run the excavator and drive the piles ourselves. Nothing gets lost between the drawing and the water, and you deal with one crew from the first call to the final walk-through.

Our edge

We weld it. We build it. Or we deliver it.

Most marine contractors order their aluminum. We build ours — docks, gangways, framing, jet ski cradles and accessories — in our own shop.

  • Custom sizes a catalog will not offer — 16×40, 12×48, 45-foot gangways
  • Faster turnaround and no middleman markup
  • Fabrication-only orders delivered by trailer for contractors and DIY owners
  • Delivered as far as Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, SC

Before & after

From tired wood to welded aluminum.

Drag the slider. The old wooden walkway came out; a new aluminum gangway and walkway with composite decking went in — fabricated in our shop.

After: new aluminum walkway, gangway and dock beside boat lifts
Before: weathered white wooden walkway with hose reel leading to a dock
